WISL EDI - Transportation provides for the
generation and processing of several transportation EDI transactions
including the generation and decoding of EDI envelopes.

WISL EDIT must
interface with the user's VAN. This is uaually best accomplished by
establishing a separate mail box for transportation transactions.
The established communication mechanism between the VAN and the
user's computer system would be employed to transfer EDI envelopes.

If it is desired to establish
non-EDI transfers with specific carriers then specific communication
interfaces must be established.

clerical procedures involved in setting up EDI partnerships and in
the interpretation of exception reporting from EDI transfer
processes.
