WATPOS provides both Point of Sale and Backroom functions for a store environment. The Point of Sale portion runs on a PC based cash register and handles sale transactions, returns, voids, payments on account, and etc. The Backroom portion runs on virtually any terminal, and provides reporting, data-transfer, and support functions for the Point of Sale devices.

- interfaces

    WATPOS supports a transactional interface with the store's retail management system. It accepts periodic updates to its PLU file and sends sales transactions for update of the inventory management system.

    WATPOS directly interfaces with WISL Bank Authorization to provide integrated credit and debit card authorization through the register.

    Other WISL products that interface with WATPOS include C/PRM, WISL TOG and WISL BBB.

    Clerical users must be trained in the register and backroom facilities of WATPOS.
