Valid input to the vendor ID prompt is the system assigned vendor number or the user assigned vendor alpha code. A list of valid vendors is provided in the help for this prompt.

If, as in this example, there is more than one vendor number corresponding to the input vendor alpha code then a further prompt is issued.
