    WISL EDIL must interface with the user's VAN. This is usually best accomplished by establishing a separate mail box for retail transactions. The established communication mechanism between the VAN and the user's computer system would be employed to transfer EDI envelopes. The internet may also be utilized to transfer EDI envelopes via e-mail.

    If it is desired to establish non-EDI transfers with specific partners then specific communication interfaces must be established.

- training

    Training in the clerical procedures involved in setting up EDI partnerships and in the interpretation of exception reporting from EDI transfer processes.

- integration issues

    Integration with EDI VAN must be tested.
